Henry Fraser dived into the sea in Portugal hitting his head on the undulating sea-bed dislocating his fourth vertebrae, leaving him unable to move anything from his neck down. He then spent six months in hospital in England learning how to breathe again and getting as strong and as healthy as possible.

When his health improved, he taught himself how to draw and then paint by attaching the utensils to a mouth stick, opening a thoroughly enjoyable new chapter in his life, rediscovering his love for drawing, painting and creating; in his words, ‘adversity gave me a gift’.
